A haven of peace in the heart of the black Perigord

Set in the peaceful surroundings of fifteen hectares of forested park in the romantic heart of the black Perigord, this charming property is found at the top of a winding country road six miles west of the town of Sarlat.

The former farm of the castle of Puymartin, an old 18th century stone building, the property has undergone several enlargements. Set around the original courtyard, "La Croze de Puymartin" has retained the authentic features of the farm with its barn, home, porch with dovecote and outbuildings.

La Croze de Puymartin is located near the village of Marquay, between two of the main rivers in the black Perigord: Vezere and Dordogne.

Our property is located at the top of a hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

More precisely located near the Beunes valleys, it is a haven of peace and unspoiled nature, recognized for the richness of its natural heritage, declared "biosphere reserve" by UNESCO and "Natura 2000" site protected under an European directive.

In terms of tourism, the Vezere and Dordogne valleys bring together a number of attractions: landscapes, heritage, gastronomy.

We offer two accommodation options (one for two guests and one for six guests) in the building. We’re onsite to help and welcome our guests into our own home as friends.
